Current Situation

Update 8:03: The fire was contained to two diesel trucks containing hot roofing material. There was no damage to the building and no injures reported.
 
Update 5:31a.m.: The incident commander is releasing resources and will keep one water tender on fire watch till 8:00a.m.12/28/2014
 
 
Update 12/282014 2:08a.m.: Resources will be committed an extended amount of time due to the chemicals involved and a possible reaction to water. The tanker truck involved is located next to a concrete building under construction. March Air Force Base is also assisting with equipment and personnel. One flat bed truck near the tanker truck was also burned during the incident. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
 
 
CALFIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of black smoke coming from a warehouse under construction in Perris. The first arriving resource advised one commercial tanker with a pressurized vessel under fire. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
