CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to a report of a commercial fire alarm at the 78000 block of Avenue 47 in La Quinta. The first arriving engine company reported an audible alarm ringing with smoke showing from the structure and requested additional resources. The fire was contained to the contents inside the structure which activated the sprinklers. One civilian was evaluated by paramedics on scene minor burn injuries, and declined transport. Resources ill remain on scene for approximately one hour for water salvage.
