Current Situation

Update 4:05 p.m.: A total of 19 students were on the Perris Union High School District Bus. One student was transported with moderate injuries. Three patients in the passenger vehicle were transported by ground ambulance; one with serious injuries, one with moderate injuries and one with minor injuries. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters are on scene of traffic collision involving a solo vehicle and school bus at Evans Road X Holland Road in Menifee. Firefighters established a triage and began evaluating patients. Currently there is a total of twenty-two patients. One patient with major injuries, twenty patients with moderate injuries, and one patient with minor injuries. The patient's with major and minor injuries were in the solo vehicle. The have been transported to an area hospital by ground, along with one moderate patient. So far a total of three patients have been transported by ground ambulance. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
