UPDATE 1/2/16 @ 6:34 a.m. - The fire was contained to the structure and there are no parties displaced.
 
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters are on scene of a residential structure fire at the 66000 block of Desert View Avenue in Desert Hot Springs. The first arriving engine reported a single family residence well involved with fire. The fire has been contained and Southern California Edison has been requested to the incident. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
