CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to a hiker that fell with injuries on the La Quinta Cove to Lake Cahuilla Trail in La Quinta. Firefighters hiked to the patient's location, and brought the patient down to an awaiting air ambulance. One adult male with moderate injuries was transported by Mercy Air to a nearby hospital.
