UPDATE 11:20 p.m.: Fire is 100% contained. Final size, 30 acres.
Update 9:30 p.m.: Fire holding at approximately 30 acres and is 70% contained. Full containment expected by midnight. No injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Update 8:40 p.m. Forward spread stopped. Resources will be on scene several hours for mop-up. Additional updates will be provided as information becomes available.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters are on scene of a wildland fire north of Moreno Valley. The fire is approximately 35 acres burning in medium fuels at a dangerous rate. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
