CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of a traffic collision on Interstate 10 two miles west of Summit Road in Chiriaco Summit. The first arriving chief officer reported on vehicle rolled over with victims trapped. There were six victims in total. One victim perished at the scene, two victims with moderate injuries required extrication and were transported by air ambulance to area hospitals, one victim with moderate injuries and two victims with minor injuries were transported by ground ambulance to area hospitals.
