UPDATE 7/17/17 @ 3:50 p.m. - After review the adress has been updated to the 1700 block of West Ramsey Street in Banning. Three adults and one child were displaced by the fire. The American Red Cross was requested to the incident to assist them.
Update - The fire has been contained. Firefighters will remain on scene performing overhaul.
Update - The location has been updated to the 1600 block of Wilson Street in Banning. Firefighters are still working to contain the fire.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of a wildland fire at the 1700 block of Ramsey Street in Banning. The first arriving engine company reported half an acre of grass with extension in to the eaves and attic of a nearby motel. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
