FINAL UPDATE 8-3-17 @ 5:17 p.m. - The fire is 100% contained at 200 acres.
 
Update 8-2-17 @ 3:41 p.m. - The fire is 95% contained.
 
Update 8-2-17 @ 8:10 a.m. - The fire remains 200 acres and is 75% contained.
 
Update 8-1-17 @ 6:11 p.m. - The fire remains 200 acres and is 50% contained. The next update will be in the morning (8-2-17) unless sigificant incident activity warrants otherwise.
 
Morning Update 08/01/2017 6:30 a.m,: No change in acreage over night. The Rose fire remains 200 acres and 10% contained. All Evacuation Orders and Warnings were lifted last evening and all roads are open. A day assignment consisting engines, fire crews and a water tender is in place and will remain on scene to fully contain and control the fire.
 
Update 9:00 p.m.: The fire remains 200 acres and is now 10% contained. This will be the final update for this evening unless significant activity during the night warrants otherwise. Next update will be tomorrow morning (08/01/2017).
 
UPDATE 8:10 P.M. ALL EVACUATION ORDERS LIFTED, including:  Amorose Street, Rockridge Road, Toft Street and Ainsworth Place. Grand Avenue also reopened. Motorists should drive with caution through the fire area and yield to fire equipment and personnel working.
 
Update 7:30 p.m. CAL FIRE Investigators determined that the fire was caused accidentally by equipment. No further information available.
 
Update 7:00 p.m. The Rose Fire is now 200 acres and 0% contained. Evacuation Orders for Amorose Street, Rockridge Road, Ainsworth Place and Toft Street remain in place.

UPDATE 4:45 PM: EVACUATION WARNING LIFTED FOR: EL CARISO VILLAGE, EL CARISO CAMPGROUND, LOS PINOS CAMPGROUND AND NORTH MAIN DIVIDE
 
Update 4:25 p.m. The fire is now approximately 150 acres and 0% contained. The fire is burning in medium fuels at a rapid rate.
 
Evacuation ORDERS remain in place for: AMOROSE STREET, ROCKRIDGE ROAD AND TOFT STREET.
 
Evacuation WARNINGS remain in place for: El Cariso Campground, Los Pinos Campground and North Main Divide.
 
Road Closure: Grand Avenue between Amorose Street and Machado Street.
 
 
 
 
Update: 4:00 p.m.: Grand Avenue Closed between Machado Street and Amorose.
 
Update 3:50 p.m.: EVACUATION ORDER for Amorose Street and Toft Street.
 
EVACUATION WARNING for El Cariso Campground, Los Pinos Campground, North Main Divide
 
Update: 3:40 p.m. CAL FIRE is in Unified Command with the USFS.
 
Update : The fire is now 20-25 acres. Evacuations in progress for El Cariso Campground, North Main Divide and Los Pinos Camp.
 
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters, with the USFS are on scene of a wildland fire in the unincorporated area of Lake Elsinore. The fire is currently 5-10 acres. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
