Update 10/17/2017 1:15 p.m.: CAL FIRE Investigators have determined the cause of the fire to be electrical. No further information available.
Update - The fire has been contained, firefighters will remain on scene for overhaul.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of a residential structure fire at the 9000 block of Calle De Vecinos in Desert Hot Springs. The first arriving engine company reported light smoke coming from a sigle family residence. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
