CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of a single vehicle traffic collision along westbound Interstate 10 X Sunset Avenue in Banning. Firefighters arrived on scene of a vehicle off the freeway with a total of two patients. One patient was transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital with serious injuries. The second patient succumbed to their injuries on scene. California Highway Patrol (CHP) is overseeing the investigation. For further information please contact CHP.
