Current Situation

UPDATE 11/16/17 @ 9:25 a.m. - The location has been updated to the 200 block of Avenue 9 in Lake Elsinore. One additional adult male was displaced by the fire and requested the assistance of the American Red Cross, for a total of seven adults. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to multiple reports of a residential structure fire at the 1600 block of Park Way in Lake Elsinore. The first arriving engine company reported a single story, single family dwelling with heavy fire from the garage with victims trapped. A Riverside County Sheriff (RSO) Deputy was on scene prior to firefighters arrival helping the victims out of the residence. The RSO Deputy was evaluated by paramedics on scene and transported by a ground ambulance to an area hospital for smoke inhalation. The victims were evaluated by paramedics on scene and declined further treatment. The fire was contained to the garage, with extension into two bedrooms of the residence. The American Red Cross has been requested to assist with three adult males, and three adult females displaced by the fire.
