Current Situation

CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of injured hikers on the Skyline Trail near Palm Springs. After further contact with the hikers, they were unharmed, but fatigued and requested assistance off the trail. CAL FIRE Copter 301 responded to hoist rescue the hikers and transported them to a safe zone where they could safely hike out with no further incident.
