CAL FIRE/Riverside County and Corona City Firefighters are on scene of a residential structure fire in El Cerrito. The first arriving engine company reported smoke visible from the exterior and garage of a single family home with one person trapped in an apartment attached to the garage. The person was safely extricated by firefighters and transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital for further evaluation of minor injuries. The fire was quickly contained shortly after arrival at 10:41 a.m. Resources will remain on scene for overhaul.
