UPDATE 5/14/18 @ 1:58 p.m. - The fire has been contained. Firefighters will remain on scene for approximately two to three hours. ** CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to numerous reports of a residential structure fire at the 83000 block of Manzanita Avenue in Indio. The first arriving engine company reported a single story, single family dwelling well involved in fire. The American Red Cross has been requested to assist six adults displaced by the fire. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
