Update 4:18 p.m. - The forward progress of the fire has been stopped at 11 acres.
Update 3:23 p.m. - The fire is 10-11 acres in heavy brush. Firefighters will remain on scene for 5-6 hours for mop up.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of a wildland fire at the 44000 block of Vuelta Grande Road in the unincorporated county area of Temecula known as De Luz. The first arriving engine company reported 10 to 15 acres of medium brush burning in rocky terrain with no structure threat. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
