Current Situation

CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters, with assistance from Corona City Firefighters, responded to reports of an injured hiker on Skyline Trail in the unincorporated County area of Corona. Firefighters arrived on scene and hiked approximately four miles to establish patient contact. One patient was located with a non-ambulatory lower extremity injury. CAL FIRE Helicopter 301 assisted in retrieving the patient and taking them to an awaiting ground ambulance. The patient was transported to an area hospital by ground ambulance with moderate injuries.
