Cause: Under Investigation Evacuation Comments: <div>Update 8:38 PM: All evacuations to Oasis Mobile Home Park were lifted at 8:00 PM. The Care & Reception Center at Desert Mirage High School has closed. <div>Update 4:00 PM: A Care & Reception Center has been set up for the evacuees at Desert Mirage High School. Located at 86150 66th Avenue in Thermal. <div>Approximately 100 mobile homes from the north side of the Oasis Mobile Home Park located at 88700 Ave 70 in Thermal.

Current Situation

Update 5/22/19 @ 7:28 AM: The incident has been transitioned to the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). Any further incident updates will be direct through the BIA.
Update 9:00 PM: Power has been restored to all affected customers.
Update 8:38 PM: All evacuations to Oasis Mobile Home Park were lifted at 8:00 PM. The Care & Reception Center at Desert Mirage High School has closed. The fire is now 22 acres and 10% contained.
Update 7:32 PM: The fire is now approximately eight acres. Firefighters continue to actively fight the fire. Imperial Irrigation District has cut power to an area along 68th Av that affected 24 customers.
Update 4:30 PM: Fire is now approximately five acres. This is a wind-driven fire burning at a moderate rate. Winds are 13 MPH out of the west with gusts to 30 MPH.
 
Update 4:00 PM: A Care & Reception Center has been set up for the evacuees at Desert Mirage High School. Located at 86150 66th Avenue in Thermal.
 
Update 3:25 PM: CAL FIRE is working in Unified Command with the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on this incident. Approximately 100 mobile homes in the Oasis Mobile Home Park (88700 Avenue 70 In Thermal).
 
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters are on scene of a vegetation fire on Fillmore Street in Thermal. The fire is approximately 1/2 acre of mulch burning in windy conditions. Fillmore Street will be closed between Ave 68 and Ave 70 until further notice. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
