UPDATE 6/6/19 @ 5:55 p.m. - Firefighters are still working to contain the fire. Resources are expected to remain on scene for approximately two hours.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters; with assistance from Soboba Fire and Hemet City Fire; responded to multiple reports of a vegetation fire at North Ramona Boulevard X North Lyon Avenue in San Jacinto. The first arriving engine company reported 3 acres of vegetation on fire burning at a moderate rate of spread. The fire is currently holding at five acres. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department has been requested to shut down North Ramona Boulevard at the incident. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
