UPDATE 7/7/19 @ 9:35 p.m. - The fire has been contained. Resources will remain on scene for approximately two hours for mop-up and overhaul.
UPDATE 7/7/19 @ 8:55 p.m. - American Red Cross has been requested for one adult displaced by the fire. The victim that was rescued from the residence by firefighters is the same patient that was transported by ground ambulance.
UPDATE 7/7/19 @ 8:33 p.m. - Primary and secondary search has been completed. All occupants of the mobile home have been located and are accounted for.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to multiple reports of a residential structure fire at the 73000 block of Red Circle in Palm Desert. The first arriving engine company reported a residence 50% involved in fire with reports of a victim trapped inside, and went into rescue mode. One victim was removed from the residence. One patient was transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital in critical condition. Firefighters are still battling an active fire. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
