UPDATE @ 3:13 p.m - The fire is 96 acres and 100% contained.
 
UPDATE @ 12:40 p.m. - The forward progress of the fire has been stopped. The fire is approximately 50 acres.
 
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of a wildland fire at the 27000 block of Orange Avenue in Nuevo. The first arriving engine company reported 1/4 acre burning at a slow rate of spread. The fire is currently 10 acres. A CAL FIRE PIO is enroute. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
