[UPDATE] 8/23/19 @ 5:49 pm - The fire is now 100% contained.

[UPDATE] 8/23/19 @2:30 pm - THe fire is still holding at 4 acres and is 80% contained. [UPDATE] 8/23/19 @ 2:00 pm - Highway 60 is being reopened in both directions. Fire resources will remain on scene for approximately 4 hours. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of fire along Highway 60 near the Jack Rabbit Trail Off Ramp, in Moreno Valley. The first arriving engine reported 2 acres burning upslope. The freeway has been shut down in both directions. The fire is currently holding at 4 acres. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
