[FINAL] 9/19/19 @ 11:40 PM - The fire is 100% contained. Fire resources wil continue to patrol the area looking for hot spots within the burn.

[UPDATE] 9/19/19 @ 8:23 PM - The fire is now 75% contained.

[UPDATE] 9/19/19 @ 5:50 PM - After better mapping the fire is currently 9.85 acres and is now 25% contained.

[UPDATE] 9/19/19 @ 4:20 PM - Tenaja Rd. is closed from Via Volcano and along the edge of the fire.

[UPDATE] 9/19/19 @ 4:20 PM - The forward rate of spread has been stopped. The fire is still holding at 10 acres.
[UPDATE] 9/19/19 @ 4:05 PM - The fire is currently holding at 10 acres, in light fuels.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of fire in the Santa Rosa Ecological Reserve. The first arriving air resource reported 6 acres of vegetation burning in light grass with a moderate rate of spread. Currently, the fire is entirely within the Santa Rosa Ecological Reserve. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
