The fire was 100% contained at 12:30 p.m.
 
Update 9/22/2019 @ 9:15 a.m. - CAL FIRE Copter 301 performed a reconnaissance flight over the fire this morning and mapped it at 98 acres. The fire is 80% contained. The next update will be early this evening unless significant activity occurs.
 
Update @ 9:11 p.m. The fire is 20% contained. The next update will be following morning briefing on Sunday 9/22/19, unless significant incident activity occurs.
 
Update @ 7:35 p.m. The fire has slowed and is now 115 acres.
 
Update @ 6:29 p.m. The fire is 110 acres. A PIO is enroute.
 
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of a wildland fire at Moreno Beach drive and John F. Kennedy drive near Lake Perris. The first arriving engine company reported three acres of vegetation burning mid slope. The fire is currently 30 acres. There are no evacuations or injuries reported. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
