Current Situation

[FINAL UPDATE] The "46" Fire was declared 100% contained at 4:00 P.M. this afternoon. Final size, 328 acres.
[MORNING UPDATE] 11/03/2019 7:30 a.m.: The "46" Fire is now 95% contained and acreage is 328 due to more accurate mapping. Resources remain on scene as they work to strengthen containment lines.
[EVENING UPDATE] 11/02/2019 6:30 P.M.: Fire remains 300 acres and is now 90% contained. Next update will be tomorrow morning (11/03/2019 following briefing).
[UPDATE] 11/2/2019 8:00 A.M.: The fire remains 300 acres and 85% contained. Resources remain on scene as they work to strengthen containment lines.
[UPDATE] 11/1/2019 6:30 p.m.: The fire remains 300 acres and is now 85% contained.
 
[UPDATE] 11/1/2019 8:00 a.m.: The fire is 300 acres and 70% contained.
 
[UPDATE] 10/31/2019 7:15 p.m.: The fire remains 300 acres and is now 50% contained.
 
[UPDATE] 10/31/2019 2:00 p.m.: ALL EVACUATION ORDERS HAVE BEEN LIFTED. RESIDENTS MAY RETURN HOME. PLEASE USE CAUTION RETURNING HOME AND YIELD TO FIRE EQUIPMENT WORKING IN THE AREA.
 
[UPDATE] 12:50 P.M.: All evacuation orders remain in place. The fire is now 15% contained and remains 300 acres.
 
In addition to the three residential strctures and two out buildings destroyed in Riverside County jurisdiction of the 46th fire, ember casting due to high winds ignited debris which destroyed two outbuildings and caused major damage to two commerical buildings within Riverside City. Resources from Riverside City Fire Department responded to extinguish the fires in their jurisdiction.
 
[UPDATE] 12:40 P.M.: All evacuation orders remain in place. The fire remains 300 acres and 5% contained. The following road closures are in effect:
Riverview Drive @ Rio
Avenue Juan Diaz @ Riverview Drive
Crestmore Avenue @ 46th Street
Kern Drive @ Riverview
Peralta @ Riverview
 
[UPDATE] 8:25 a.m. - The fire is now 300 acres and 5% contained.
 
UPDATE 6:30 A.M.: The fire is now 150 acres and 0% contained. All evacuation orders remain in place.
 
UPDATE 5:30 A.M: All evacuation orders remain in place until further notice. The fire is still 75 acres and 0% contained. Three residential structures and two outbuildings are confirmed destroyed. Additional updates will be posted as information becomes available.
 
[UPDATE] 2:45 a.m. - The fire is currently 75 acres and 0% contained burning with a rapid rate of spread.  There has been one residential structure, one mobile home and two outbuildings damaged in the fire. 
 
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of fire near the 5300 block of 46th Avenue, in Jurupa Valley.  The first on scene resource reported 1/4 acre of vegetation burning with a rapid rate of spread.  More information will be posted as information becomes available.
