Current Situation

MORNING UPDATE 6/9/2020 - The fire was 100% contained last night. Fire resources will remain in the area for mop up.

UPDATE 6/8/2020 at 9:17 p.m. - The fire is 27 acres and 60% contained. Resources will remain on scene throughout the night working on full containment. Unless significant incident activity occurs, the next update will be tomorrow morning. (The acreage changed due to updated mapping on the fire.)

UPDATE 06/08 @ 3:30 P.M.: Fire is currently 40 acres.

 CALFIRE/Riverside County Firefighters with assistance from Cleveland National Forest, responded to multiple reports of a vegetation fire in the area of S. Main Divide Road near DeCariso Road in the unincorporated County area west of Lake Elsinore. The fire is approximately five acres, burning at a moderate rate of spread. There are no structures currently threatened. Multiple additional ground and air resources have been requested. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
