Current Situation

[FINAL UPDATE] The fire was contained early this morning at 2:04 am. With better mapping the fire burned a total of 2 acres. 
 
[UPDATE] 9:06 PM - The forward rate of spread has been stopped.  The fire is currently approximately 3-5 acres.  Fire resources will remain on scene for approximately 4-6 hours for mop up.
 
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of a vegetation fire near the intersection of Old Banning Idyllwild Road and Wolfskill Truck Trail.  The first arriving fire resource reported 5 acres burning in heavy brush at a slow rate of spread.  Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
