[FINAL] 8:43 p.m. - The fire was fully contained at 4:55 p.m. this evening and was mapped at 22 acres.
[UPDATE] 5:16 p.m. - The forward rate of spread of the fire has been stopped at approximately 20 acres. Air resources have been released. Fire ground resources will remain on scene for at least 2 hours for mop up.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to multiple reports of a vegetation fire burning near the intersection of Cole Avenue and Landin Lane, in the community of Woodcrest. The first responding fire resource reported one acre burning at a rapid rate of spread. The fire is currently five acres and has burned multiple power poles. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
