07/26/2020 @ 6:00 p.m. [FINAL UPDATE] - The fire is 97% contained. A total of 277 acres have burned, 265 of those acres are on the San Bernardino County Side. Incident command has transitioned to San Bernardino County Fire Department, please check with them for further updates.
Morning Update 07/26/2020 6:30 A.M. - The fire remains 250 acres and 50% contained. Day assignment on scene working to strengthen containment lines and patrol for hot spots. Unified Command remains in place with CAL FIRE and San Bernardino County Fire Department.
Final Update for the evening 7/25/2020 8:00 p.m. The fire is 250 acres and is now 50% contained. Forward spread stopped. Resources will remain on scene overnight as they work to improve containment lines.
Update 6:15 P.M. Fire is 150 acres and is now 10% contained. No injuries reported and no structures damaged or destroyed.
Update 4:50 P.M. Fire is now 40 acres and 0% contained.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department and San Bernardino County Fire are now in Unified Command of the incident
Update 4:10 P.M. - Fire is 20 acres, 0% contained and continues to burn at a moderate rate. Winds out of the west at 17 mph, 90 degrees and 32% RH.
Update 4:05 P.M. Additional air and ground resources responding. Public Information Officer also responding.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters are on scene of a wildland fire on Sierra Ave X Karen Lane in Jurupa Valley. The fire is approximately 5-10 acres burning in light grasses at a moderate rate. RSO has closed Sierra Avenue between Armstrong and the San Bernardino County Line. San Bernardino County FD and City of Corona FD assisting. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
