UPDATE 10:00 p.m. - Firefighters contained the fire at 7 p.m. and will remain on scene for approximately two hours performing mop up.
 
UPDATE 3:11 p.m. - The fire is 20% contained.
 
UPDATE 2:40 p.m. - The fire is holding at approximately 104 acres.
 
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of a vehicle fire on east bound Highway 60 near Jack Rabbit trail in Beaumont. The first arriving engine company reported a small RV fully involved with extension into the surrounding vegetation. The fire is currently 35 acres burning in light vegetation, at a moderate rate of spread. There are no injuries or evacuations.
