UPDATE 8/15/2020 @ 8:15 p.m. - The fire has ben re-mapped at 51 acres and is now 85% contained.
UPDATE 8/15/2020 @ 10:00 a.m. - The fire is now 75% contained.
UPDATE 8/14/2020 @ 7:37 p.m. - The fire is 65% contained. The next update will be Saturday, August 15th after 8 a.m. unless significant fire activity occurs.
UPDATE 8/14/2020 @ 8 a.m. - The fire is 45 acres and 50% contained. The acreage change is due to updated mapping. Firefighters will remain on scene performing mop up.
UPDATE @ 9:15 p.m. - All evacuations have been lifted. Please use caution when returning to the area. The next update will be Friday, August 14th after 8 a.m. unless significant fire activity occurs.
UPDATE @ 8:30 p.m. - The fire is 51 acres and 40% contained. Firefighters are conducting a controlled firing operation that will be highly visible. Residents should not be alarmed.
UPDATE @ 7 p.m. - The fire is 25 acres and 10% contained.
UPDATE @ 6:14 p.m. - The fire is currenty 25 acres. Corona Fire Department has done evacuations as a precaution on the city streets of Clearing Circle, Meandering Lane, Burrero Way, Corbett Street and Overland Lane.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters, Corona Fire and Cleveland National Forest responded to reports of a wildland fire at Skyline Dr. X Foothill Parkway southwest of Corona. The first arriving engine company reported approximately 10-15 acres of vegetation burning at a moderate rate of spread. There are no evacuations or injuries. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
