[UPDATE] 12:45 p.m. - The evacuation warning has been LIFTED.
[UPDATE] 11:00 a.m. - Firefighters have stopped the forward spread of the fire at 1,500 acres. The fire is 0% contained and firefighters will remain on scene until 100% containment is achieved.
[UPDATE] 10:00 a.m. - The fire is 900 acres and 0% contained.
[UPDATE] 9:00 a.m. - The fire is now 800 acres and 0% contained. An evacuation WARNING has been issued for the homes north of Gilman Springs and South of Timothy Lane. This includes Jerry Street, Mc Gehee Drive, Alberta Lane, Laurene Lane, Lisa Lane and Kevin Road. The evacuation warning impacts less than a dozen homes.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to reports of a wildland fire in the area of La Borde Canyon Road and Jack Rabbit Trail, south of Beaumont. Firefighters had difficulty accessing the fire due to it's location deep into rugged terrain. The fire is currently 300 acres and 0% contained. There are no evacuations or injuries and updates will be posted as information becomes available.
