Current Situation

Update 5/19/21 @ 7:00 A.M. - The fire was 100% contained to 300.5 acres at 10:30 p.m. All fire resources have cleared the scene..
Update 7:00 P.M. - The fire is 300.5 acres and 60% contained. Resources will remain committed overnight. Unless significant incident activity occurs, the next update will be tomorrow morning.
Update 3:15 P.M.- The forward spread of the fire has been stopped. No change in acreage or containment.
Update 2:50 P.M.- The fire is 300 acres and remains 5% contained.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of a wildland fire near the intersection of Davis Road and Theodore Street in Moreno Valley. The first arriving engine company reported two small fires in close proximity to one another. The fire is currently 75 acres and 5% contained. There are no injuries or evacuations. Gilman Springs Road is closed, road closure updates can be found on the CHP CAD website.
