The mission of the Contracts and Grants Section is to research funding for small and large projects, and emergency management training for the Riverside County Operational Area.  The end goal is to be able to effectively and efficiently manage a disaster affecting jurisdictions within the Riverside County Operational Area.

Contracts and Grants staff are responsible for development and management of all Riverside County Fire Department and Riverside County Operational Area grants and grant-related contracts. The Grants staff works to maintain programs and relationships which will aid in the protection of the County of Riverside and Riverside County Operational Area.

Our mission statement emphasizes that our staff is " committed to finding ways to meet needs through funding eductional and training programs, pre-disaster mitigation projects, emergency medical equipment, and hardening of Riverside County's most critical infrastructures."
