The Automotive Section is charged with the responsibility of providing safe, reliable, operative equipment throughout the entire year.   Since the formation of the automotive section in the early 1950’s, the number of fire stations in the County has increased from 26 to 92.  The fleet is maintained at two automotive shops located in Perris  and Indio .
