**[FINAL UPDATE 9/7/25]: The fire is 100% contained and fire resources are clearing the area.

[UPDATE 9/7/25 12:30PM] The fire remains 95% contained and firefighters continue mopping up hot spots inside the fire perimeter.

[UPDATE 9/6/25 7:50PM] The fire is now 95% contained. Crews will be committed throughout the evening patrolling the fire perimeter, monitoring any hot spots, and performing mop-up. ALL evacuation WARNINGS have been lifted and are now back in NORMAL status. Please use caution when returning to the area for night crews and equipment.

[UPDATE 9/6/25 7:20PM] The fire remains at 55 acres and is now 60% contained. All Evacuation ORDERS have been downgraded to WARNINGS. Please use caution when returning to the area as firefighters and equipment will continue working through the night to strengthen containment lines and conduct mop-up operations.

[UPDATE 9/6/25 3:46PM] The forward rate of spread was stopped at 3:40PM. The fire is 20% contained at 55-acres.

The Evacuation ORDER for zone LSN-1407 has been split and is now Zone LSN -1407A and remains in effect.

North of State Highway 74, El Toro Cut Off Rd. South of El Toro Rd. EAST of El Toro Rd, Chippewa Rd. WEST of Vista Ave.

Zones LSN - 1407B and RVC - 1408 have been downgraded to a WARNING.

[UPDATE 9/6/25 2:20PM] The fire is at 50-acres and is 10% contained. Hand crews and firefighters are diligently constructing and reinforcing containment lines while multiple air resources continue to make water and retardant drops to slow the fire’s spread. No injuries reported.

Multiple air and ground resources are responding to a 2-acre vegetation fire with smoke showing and a moderate rate of spread in medium fuels. No injuries reported.
