8/3/23 UPDATE 8:00 PM The fire was 100% contained to 16 acres at 7:00 PM.
8/2/23 UPDATE 6:30 PM: The fire is 16 acres and 40% contained. The forward rate of spread has been stopped. Firefighters will remain on-scene overnight and tomorrow for heavy mop-up in thick brush. This will be the final update for the evening unless significant activity dictates otherwise.
8/2/23 UPDATE 4:30 PM: The fire is 15 acres and 0% contained. There are no evacuations.
